What we process
When you check a username, it is sent to our server, which asks TikTok whether a public profile with that name exists. The result is kept in server memory for about 30 minutes so repeat checks are faster. We don’t keep a history of the usernames you check and we don’t link them to you.
To stop abuse, our server briefly counts how many checks come from each IP address. These counts reset every minute and are not stored.
The “Your recent checks” list on the checker is saved only in your own browser (local storage). It never reaches our server, and you can remove it with the Clear button.
Cookies and advertising
We may show ads through Google AdSense. Google and its partners use cookies to show ads based on your visits to this and other websites. You can turn off personalized ads in Google Ads Settings. Learn more in how Google uses cookies in advertising.
If you’re visiting from the EEA, UK or Switzerland, a Google-certified consent management platform asks for your consent before any personalized ads are shown, in line with Google’s EU user consent policy.
Analytics
We may use privacy-friendly analytics to count page views. These don’t identify you personally.
Children
This site isn’t directed at children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect their personal data.
